About New Leaf Haven Homes
Our Story
New Leaf Haven Homes was founded by professionals with extensive experience working within the NHS and wider health and social care system.
Through our work, we saw first hand the challenges many young adults with learning disabilities and autism face when transitioning into adulthood – particularly the lack of stable, appropriate residential homes that truly meet individual needs.
We created New Leaf Haven Homes to provide more than care alone. Our aim was to develop a safe, supportive home where individuals feel understood, valued and able to grow in confidence and independence.
Our service is shaped by clinical understanding alongside a strong belief in dignity, respect and each person’s individual potential.
Our Vision and Values
Our service is guided by clear values that inform how we operate and make decisions:
Empowerment – supporting individuals to make informed choices and develop independence
Nurturing – fostering a supportive, respectful environment for residents and staff
Integrity – acting with honesty, transparency, and accountability
Innovation – continuously improving our service through learning and best practice
These values underpin our approach to care, leadership, and governance.
Our Team
New Leaf Haven Homes is led by an experienced management team with strong backgrounds in health and social care, governance and regulated services.
- Our Registered Manager provides day to day leadership within the home, ensuring high standards of care, staff support and continuous quality improvement in line with CQC requirements. A strong emphasis is placed on creating a safe, consistent and positive environment for both residents and staff.
- Our Nominated Individual provides organisational oversight, governance and strategic direction, supporting ongoing service development and accountability.
- Care is delivered by a dedicated team of trained Support Workers with experience in supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities. Staff receive ongoing training in Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support approaches and are encouraged to build consistent, meaningful relationships with residents.
We place strong emphasis on retaining a stable staff team to support continuity of care, familiarity and long-term placement stability.
Our Home
Our home is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Hale, providing a calm and predictable setting while remaining well connected to the local community.
The property offers a safe and spacious environment with shared communal areas, private bedrooms and access to outdoor space. The garden opens directly into Grove Park’s large fields, giving residents opportunities for fresh air, exercise and quiet outdoor time within a peaceful setting.
The smaller residential environment allows us to maintain a relaxed atmosphere with consistent staffing and reduced environmental stress, which can be particularly beneficial for individuals with autism who may find larger or busier settings overwhelming.
We also have a dedicated sensory room designed to support emotional regulation and low-stimulus downtime. This space can be used proactively to help residents relax, manage sensory input and feel settled within their home.
